Dale is DEAD

I somewhere, read someone asking, as to why isn't the exposure getting updated. Well the only reason' I can think of is that Dale is dead. I mean how can a person just vanish like that. A person who is(was???) so much dedicated to the cause of amateur film-making - why would he give an e-mail id to get back to in case of any troubles and not do so. Who knows maybe he has got some top job in Hollywood but then too, he could always have outsourced this work to someone. So, Dale being no more in this world, seems to be the only possible reason to me.

Isn't this one helluva script- an amateur film-maker comes out with a community website and forum. The site starts receiving massive hits, but suddenly Dale who would promptly respond to any mail, stops doing so. The forum-members take over the site after the hosting agreement terminates. Soon the website is doing good business and in-fact generating huge revenues from production studios who launch trailors of their upcoming movies on the site.

4-5 years down the line, there is this movie that is creating big ripples across the world. It's the first movie of xyz director, who was in news last year because of his award winning short at Sundance fest. As expected, the movie sweeps the oscar and at the post-ceremony press meet, the director drops a bomb-shell. He infact, is Dale (a fictitious name), the man behind exposure. The media is stunned but it's celebration time for the members of Eejit's forum.

Well friends, we've got an imposter among us. As if sudden disappearance of Dale was not enough, now we have got people, pretending to be him.

I think eejit is telling the truth, if only because there is no point in posing as dale. Why would anyone do that?

Basically, it's everyone on here submitting a film, to be put on a DVD for distribution! It's got the Exposure theme through it!

Also, does anyone know if exposure Dale and this guy are the same person?
if so, it would explain the lack of website updates.
